  1. Great alternative to henna 5 Star Review

I used cassia in my clients transitioning hair. I left it on for 30 mins. Her hair felt stronger and looked shinier. Her new growth also had a gorgeous lustre to it. I like that it doesn't have a pungent scent to it like henna and a little goes a long way too! This will be a staple for many of my clients hair regimens!

  2. Wonderful! 5 Star Review

After reading reviews, I purchased this and created a recipe based from Henna Sooq's YouTube video on Cassia/Chamomile/Honey. I brewed a tea from the HS Egyptian Chamomile flowers, added it to 50g. of Cassia. I then added 1 g. of HS Amla (was only able to purchase a sample at this time and really was more interested in seeing what the Cassia would do) and a few drops of HS Clary Sage oil. Followed directions for mixing and application and left on for 1/2 an hour. This recipe was more than enough for my very short pixie and left my scalp and hair feeling great. Powder was very fine and really easy to mix and rinse out. Will definitely be repeating this again to see beneficial results over time. Thank you, look forward to ordering more in the future!

  3. Does what it claims ! 5 Star Review

I used Cassia twice with a 2 weeks interval. The first time I mixed it with warm water and oils (coconut, castor, almonds) but it left an oily feeling on my hair. The second time I simply added warm water and coconut milk, the result was soft, shiny, fuller hair. It seems strenghtened and my curls had great definition. As for loosening, you can barely notice an effect and for those who are worried they still can mix it with Amla. My mom made the same observations on her own hair with a blond tint on her gray hair. She tries to transition from chemical dying and use henna instead, however we need her to keep her hair free of chemical dying for several weeks before applying Henna.
I would recommand this product and will purchase it again !

Beautiful golden tones on my reddish brown hair. Gets rid of some of the brassiness and in summer I get a strawberry blond color on my highlights when mixed with henna. Outstanding service -- emails are sent to keep you up to date on your order and mine was sent almost right away and arrived the next business day.

  6. Love it 5 Star Review

This product is amazing. I mixed it with honey, egyptian chamomile tea, lemon juice, aloe vera powder and some of the sukesh ayurveda from Henna Sooq! The whole thing smelled like hay, but I added a few drops of orange & grapefruit essential oils, which toned the smell of the cassia down enough. The application was fun, because
the mixture has a really nice velvety texture. I left it on overnight, and when I rinsed it out, my coarse hair was soft, shiny, bouncy and actually did have a golden tone. I'm definitely doing this again.

  8. Amazing! 5 Star Review

Mind blown (first time ever using this stuff):
    1. SO easy.
    2. The scent is earthy, grassy, and I swear it made my tummy feel better than it has in days.
    3. My hair feels much stronger; smoother cuticle, more shine, curls are bouncier, split ends all look sealed (haven't cut my hair in literally years).
    4. The colour is great, even though it's dying over top of a home made turmeric dye that I had used about a week ago. I was concerned that the two would create some kind of florescent offspring in my blond hair, but the cassia just evened out the colour and gave it a rich depth. 5. Overall: my natural blond curls now look like perfect golden Botticelli painting curls.

  9. Cassia / Henna for strawberry blonde 4 Star Review

Posted by on 6th Dec 2013

I recently purchased Cassia from Henna Sooq. I live in Vancouver and couldn't find Cassia anywhere and then I discovered Henna Sooq online in my research and found the website very helpful, with a ton of information and tips. The product arrived from the other side of the country in less than a week (which is record time for Canada Post ;))
I mixed 80% Cassia with 20%henna and left it on my hair for 1 hour. It's organic and a very nice quality product and I will be purchasing all of my henna from Henna Sooq from now on.
The color turned out really nice, the product came out easily in the shower and I am 100% happy with the result.
