    Moroccan Henna covers grey

    Posted by Unknown on 27th Jul 2015

    Got my shipment in a couple of days and I did my entire head with just the Moroccan Henna It covered all my grey hairs beautifully. Very close to my original red hair colour. It washed out quickly and easily. I will definitely use this product again.

    Thanks for finding the LAST available package of Moroccan henna for me and shipping it off. After missing last year's shipment, I was anxious not to be without again. I used it yesterday and it looks great. I am very pleased with the results/

    I've recently started using henna on my skin to recreate those beautiful designs you can get at festivals. This is the first henna i've tried. I used about 2 tbs of powder and gradually added a mixture of lemon juice and water. I wrapped my hand in paper towel and left it on over night; it gave a lovely dark copper-orange tone. It has a very fast dye release too. Love this, thank you henna sooq!

    Super-easy to rinse out

    I love this henna for two specific reasons: 1. Fast dye release. I can mix it and apply it within two hours. 2. This henna is the easiest to rinse out that I've ever used. I love that!

    No Fire Truck Red Here...

    Posted by Heather on 5th Sep 2014

    I haven't henna'd my entire head yet but I've done a few strand tests! I have dishwater dirty blonde hair that's taken me years and years to grow out old chemical crap. So it's in pretty decent condition to start with! I mixed 75% Moroccan henna with 25% organic cassia with a 1 hour dye release and left it on my hair for 1 hour. It turned out a beautiful light copper and when mixed in my blonde hair it looked strawberry blonde. It's kind of addicting! The next time I did anther test on a different section of my hair and used 100% Moroccan henna! With 2 hours dye release and 1.5 hours on my head. The colour turned out beautiful! No orange tints and no fire truck red! Absolutely love it! And those few strands I tested on are amazingly shiny! They almost look synthetic hahah. .. Can't wait to henna my entire head !!

    Love this henna, A++

    I wanted to try this henna because of the fast dye release. 1 to 2 hours for dye release is fantastic! I decided to henna my hair at noon and mixed it. I went outside to do some yard work for an hour or so and came back in to apply it to my hair. It was super-easy to mix. I added amla to the henna to tone down the red and added indigo to help create more of a brown tone. Out of all the henna I've tried, this was by far the easiest to rinse out. I will definitely buy it again. :)

    First time user

    I used the Moroccan henna for the first time with great results. I mixed it with indigo and the color is lovely, and most important my grey is covered. I had no issue applying it or washing it out I would definitely recommend it for dark brown highlights.

    Great Emergency Henna

    Posted by Chantale on 27th Jun 2014

    I love the fast dye release of the Moroccan Henna. It's not as smooth and creamy to apply as Jamila but is definitely great in a pinch when I need Henna fast. My hair care routine (constantly evolving) is normally combining equal parts henna and indigo but I once just applied the Moroccan Henna on its own and at first my white hairs at my temple were orangey but over time deepened to a beautiful reddish hue. It gave my hair at the temples some lovely highlights. My hair is naturally black (slightly wavy and thick) and have a high concentration of premature white hair at my temples however thankfully is mostly hidden by my natural black hair. I was tired of using chemical dyes and worried over the repeated use to cover my temples. I love the ability to slather my henna or henndigo mix onto my roots and not stress over what chemicals I'm exposing myself to. Thanks Hennasooq for your outstanding Henna products. I've learned so much from your site.
