Our hair recipe:

Use 6 tbsp of hibiscus petal powder, 2 tbsp honey, 3 tbsp aloe vera gel, 2 tbsp yoghurt, and just enough coconut milk to thicken your ingredients. Mix your ingredients so that it is the consistency of a thick pancake batter (similar to a henna recipe). Apply onto your hair, and leave on for 20-30 minutes. Rinse out thoroughly.

    Enhances Red Tones

Posted by Guest on 28th Apr 2015

I used a combination of Red Raj henna, with Indigo powder and added 2 tablespoons of hibiscus powder to the recipe. Even with 100 grams of henna and 50 grams of indigo, 2 tablespoons of hibiscus powder really added more red--more than I expected. You want to enhance red tones, this is the way to do it. It's suggested to use 3 to 4 tablespoons per 100 grams of henna but you might be able to get away with less. Great product and great service as well. Thank you, Henna Sooq!

    Very nice product

Good packaging and prompt shipping. I added the hibiscus powder to my henna recipe and it does what it says, it darkened the henna to a beautiful dark copper to almost plum/red wine type of red. My hair is black but my hairline is thin and remains lighter than the rest of the hair, this time it is darker. And the rest of hair that is black shows some rays of plum color in the sun instead of the yellowish henna rays. I'll be using it with my henna recipe. Very happy with the results, thank you.
